Veon-owned Qazcode signed an agreement with technology provider Seekr to implement AI offerings across the Kazakh software company’s operations, focusing initially on B2B and enterprise use cases.

The pair stated they signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop and implement B2B solutions for Qazcode, with a longer-term goal to use the partnership to accelerate the development of augmented intelligence offerings across all of Veon’s operating countries.

Qazcode plans to integrate Seekr’s SeekrFlow end-to-end enterprise AI platform, which will enable it to create and deploy generative AI (genAI) applications.

Using SeekrFlow will help the Kazakh company provide enterprise customers with automation tools, create AI agents and boost data management.

Veon has long-promoted its vision of augmented intelligence, taking a more human-touch approach to AI and tapping the technology for digital offerings around entertainment, healthcare and banking.

Kaan Terzioglu, CEO of Veon, said enterprises worldwide are turning to augmented intelligence to gain business advantages and the partnership with Seekr would help Qazcode continue to build on its AI capabilities.

Veon explained Qazcode and Beeline Kazakhstan have launched several AI products in collaboration with other companies in the nation including the KazLLM, which is currently being used for customer interactions on the operator’s digital platforms.

Seekr president Rob Clark added the company would serve “as the foundation platform for Veon’s AI initiatives”.
