Santander launch global free education campaign inspired by Formula 1

Formula 1’s Official Retail Banking Partner Santander has launched a new global campaign, inspired by the sport, designed to make education more visible, accessible, and inspirational for people around the world.

The campaign invites audiences to explore Santander Open Academy, a global e-learning platform offering free access to world-class courses, expert-led content, and financial scholarship opportunities from top universities and institutions.

Open to anyone, anywhere, the platform empowers learners at every stage of life and career in fields such as technology, languages, business skills, financial education, among a wide range of other topics.

Using Santander’s partnership with Formula 1, the campaign utilises F1’s global reach to highlight the unique power of sport and storytelling to promote inclusive, lifelong learning.

‘Life After F1’, a light-hearted, mockumentary-style film starring Jenson Button, introduces audiences to Santander Open Academy

Launching alongside the campaign is a new free online course in High-Performance Leadership, co-created with Jenson Button and Claire Williams. The course is designed to help learners build key skills in leadership, communication, and decision-making and is now available on Santander Open Academy.

The campaign will roll out internationally across Formula 1’s corporate digital channels and is underpinned by ‘Life After F1’ – a light-hearted, mockumentary-style film starring Button.

Using humour and storytelling, the film introduces audiences to Santander Open Academy and the opportunities it offers.
