Cooking oils used by millions of Americas are behind the sharp rise in colon cancer rates, according to a new peer-reviewed study.
According to a study conducted by researchers at the University of South Florida, toxic inflammatory seed oils in addition to ultra-processed foods widely found in the American diet were direct contributors to the progression of colorectal cancers.
Infowars.com reports: “Colorectal cancer, the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States, may be fueled by the food on our plates,” the University wrote in a press release, adding researchers had “uncovered a potential link between the Western diet – dominated by ultra-processed foods and unhealthy oils –and the chronic inflammation that drives tumor growth.”

Researchers analyzed tumors extracted from patients at Tampa General Hospital using a highly sensitive technique to detect lipid molecules.
They discovered “an excess number of molecules that promote inflammation and a shortage of those that help resolve it and promote healing,” the press release states.
Researchers note the damage done could be reversed if patients adopt “resolution medicine,” which involves replacing inflammatory foods with healthy, unprocessed foods rich with omega-3 fatty acids and fish oil derivatives.
“Early trials using specialized derivatives of fish oil have shown promise in addressing inflammation at its root cause,” the researchers state.
The study corroborates the warnings of HHS secretary nominee RFK Jr., who has for years been exposing the dangers of ultra-processed foods and “seed oils.”
“Seed oils are one of the most unhealthy ingredients that we have in foods,” Kennedy said during an appearance on Fox & Friends. “And seed oils, the reason they’re in the foods is because they’re heavily subsidized. They’re very, very cheap, but they are associated with all kinds of very, very serious illnesses, including body-wide inflammation, which affects all of our health.”
With any luck, RFK will be able to reform the agro-industrial complex, which is poisoning the food supply and compromising Americans’ health.
