Rep. Luna Blasts ‘Fumbled’ Drop of Epstein Files: ‘Give Us the Full Truth—No More Games!’

Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (R) slammed the DOJ’s release of the Jeffrey Epstein files on Thursday, criticizing the move as incomplete and misleading.

Citing a New York Post report, Luna argued that the long-anticipated document dump primarily included Epstein’s phone book—much of which had already been made public—rather than new, crucial evidence.

“I nor the task force were given or reviewed the Epstein documents being released today…” wrote Luna, Rep. Luna, the chairwoman of the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, ahead of the file release in an X post Thursday afternoon.

“A NY Post story just revealed that the documents will simply be Epstein’s phonebook. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE OR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ASKED FOR. GET US THE INFORMATION WE ASKED FOR instead of leaking old info to press.”

In an article Thursday, The Post wrote: “The Justice Department is preparing to release notorious sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s personal address book Thursday, The Post has learned,” adding through an unnamed source the release would likely be a “disappointment” to many.

The Post notes Gawker published Epstein’s 97-page address book in 2015.

The botched document release comes as Rep. Luna announced at a dinner Wednesday she would “be investigating everything that’s being released and declassified from the White House.”

Infowars report: The document release faced further delays after US Attorney General Pam Bondi on Thursday instructed FBI Director Kash Patel to investigate a New York FBI filed office that had “never disclosed the existence” of additional files.

“By 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, February 28, the FBI will deliver the full and complete Epstein files to my office, including all records, documents, audio and video recordings and materials related to Jeffrey Epstein and his clients, regardless of how such information was obtained,” Bondi wrote.

“There will be no withholdings or limitations to my or your access,” she added.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration was criticized for releasing Phase One of the Epstein files to several conservative social media influencers, instead of publishing them online for public review.
