Spokespersons for Parliament and for the political groups will hold a briefing on the 10 – 13 February plenary session on Friday at 11.00, in Parliament’s Anna Politkovskaya press room.

  • Debate on the Commission work programme for 2025 and recent proposals to boost the EU’s competitiveness
  • Debate on the EU’s continued support for Ukraine after three years of Russia’s war of aggression
  • Debate on the continued repression of Russia’s democratic opposition one year after the murder of Alexei Navalny, and on providing support to EU regions bordering Russia, Ukraine and Belarus
  • Debate on the upcoming EU strategy for the Middle East
  • Debate on EU-US trade relations and the EU’s potential responses if the US imposes tariffs on European products
