Cloud communications company Infobip inked a partnership with the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in a bid to deliver real-time, interactive digital experiences for fans across the world.
The partnership will see Infobip integrate digital communication tools including Rich Communication Services (RCS), WhatsApp, and in-app messaging with agentic AI in a move to offer real-time, personalised content to bring fans closer to the race action and the team’s drivers.
The London-based company’s technology will allow fans to access AI-powered chats, updates, and exclusive content, such as learning more about the US-based Formula 1 team’s drivers through conversational interfaces including WhatsApp messaging.
In a statement, Infobip noted the collaboration aligns with a broader push by Formula 1 teams to deepen fan engagement through digital platforms. The partnership began at the Miami Grand Prix held on Sunday (4 May) and is set to continue for the remainder of the sport’s 2025 season.
Ivan Ostojic, chief business officer at Infobip (pictured, left), explained the collaboration intends to bring fans “closer to the action”, noting rapid global growth in RCS traffic. “Our data shows that RCS traffic has grown exponentially over the last two years globally, and the channel has the potential to be transformational for customers.”
The company reported €1.8 billion in revenue in 2024 and serves clients including Google, Uber, and automotive industry players such as Toyota and Nissan,
