For International Museum Day on 18 May 2025, the Mercedes-Benz Museum welcomes all visitors with free admission. Museum Day is when people from all over the world are invited to discover living culture and enjoy new experiences in museums. On this special date, the Mercedes-Benz Museum is offering free access to its permanent exhibition with a fascinating journey through the history of the automobile from 1886 to the future.

“Youngtimer” special exhibition – dream cars of the millennials

The new “Youngtimer” special exhibition can also be experienced free of charge on International Museum Day. Until 2 November 2025, iconic Mercedes-Benz automobiles from the 1990s and 2000s take centre stage. Ten eye-catching vehicles on thematic display islands, such as “Easy Life” and “Supersonic”, evoke memories of the millennials’ youthful days. The exhibition is complemented by interactive stations such as an arcade racing contest and an AI-supported face-swap tool. In addition, further young classics in giant Matchbox-style model packaging can be admired in the underground car park and another on Classic Island on level 0.

Return of “Andrea” the robot – human meets machine

From 13 to 18 May 2025, “Andrea” the android robot will once again be our guest at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. You can meet “Andrea” in Legend Room 6: Setting out – the road to emission-free mobility. The robot from Stuttgart Media University interacts with visitors in eight languages, smiles, answers questions and is remarkably mobile. “Andrea” brings human – machine interaction to life and reveals fascinating insights into the future of AI-supported communication.

Classics & Coffee – the Sunday meeting point for the classic car scene

Through to 12 October 2025, the Museum Hill will be transformed into a paradise for lovers of classic and vintage cars every Sunday from 9 am. The open-brand meeting “Classics & Coffee” attracts fans and vehicles. This year, too, features a wealth of theme days. For further information about the event, go to www.mercedes-benz.com/classics-coffee. One of the new highlights is the digital group pass “Classics & Coffee Members”. Simply download it (mb4.me/classic-coffee-members) and save it to your phone. The programme is rounded off by rides in the brand’s classic cars as well as presentations by the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center and on obtaining spare parts from Mercedes-Benz Classic Genuine Parts.
