Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council (Transport), 5 June 2025
The Council will aim to reach a political agreement on the Council’s position in first reading on a revision of the regulation on air passenger rights and the regulation on air carrier liability. Ministers will also hold a first exchange of views on the recently proposed published proposals on the update of the roadworthiness package.

The Council will aim to adopt a recommendation on an EU Blueprint for cyber crisis management and conclusions on reliable and resilient connectivity. Ministers will also discuss the growing importance of satellite connectivity for the EU’s strategic autonomy.

Justice ministers aim to reach general approaches – member states position – on a regulation on the protection of adults and a directive harmonising certain aspects of insolvency law.

Ministers of home affairs will focus on access to data for law enforcement, internal security, Schengen and the future legal status of displaced persons from Ukraine.
