ENISA calls for experts for the renewal of the Advisory Group

The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, ENISA opens the application process in order to appoint the new “ad personam” members for the next term of the Advisory Group (AG).

Nationals of the Member States of the European Union and nationals from the European Free Trade Association (EFTA countries) are invited to apply for the next membership mandate.

The term of the current Advisory Group is to end on 31 July this year. The new Advisory Group will have a mandate of two and a half years with an indicative starting date of 1 August 2025.

The ENISA AG will be composed of up to 33 leading experts representing stakeholder groups as follows:

  1. The information and communication technology (ICT) industry, providers of electronic communications networks or services available to the public, SMEs, operators of essential services;
  2. Consumer organisations and groups in the field of cybersecurity;
  3. Academic organisations in the field of cybersecurity.

The role of the Advisory Group in a nutshell

The role of the Advisory Group is to advise ENISA and ENISA’s Executive Director in relation to the agency’s tasks. The group advises the Executive Director on the drawing up of a proposal for the annual work programme of the Agency. The AG shall specifically advise the Executive Director on ensuring communication with the relevant stakeholders for issues related to ENISA’s annual work programme.
