Democrats Must Be Willing To ‘Fight & Die’ To Defeat Trump Says The View’s Sunny Hostin

Democrats should be prepared to “fight and die” to defeat President Donald Trump, according to The View co-host Sunny Hostin

Hostin’s comments on Friday came in response to Democrat Rep. Al Green being ejected from the House floor and later censured for disrupting President Trump’s joint address to Congress last week.

InfoWars reports: “They should be ashamed of themselves,” Hostin said of the Democrats. “They all should have walked out with him.”

“They don’t know how to fight and be part of an opposition party. Representative Green gave them the example. The Democrats are not meeting the moment.”

“It is very clear that Medicaid is on the table. It is very clear that Social Security is on the table. It is very clear that people will die,” she claimed.

“The Baby Boomers, the civil rights generation — they knew what they had to do. They were willing to fight and die for their rights,” she added. “This generation of Congress, they are not meeting the moment. This is an existential crisis.”

This isn’t the first time Hostin made unhinged hyperbolic comments on The View.

In the run-up to the 2024 election, she claimed Trump was gearing up to carry out his own version of the Kristallnacht, the 1938 Nazi Party’s paramilitary pogrom against Jews in Germany.

On the January 6 anniversary, Hostin also claimed the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in 2021 was on par with the Holocaust and slavery.

“It was one of the worst moments in American history,” she argued. “And when you think about the worst moments in American history, you know, like World War II, things that happened, you know, like the Holocaust, chattel slavery, we need to never forget.”
