Call for experts on EU labour mobility: join the ELA database of experts
Are you an expert in EU labour mobility or EU legislation? The European Labour Authority is launching a new call for expression of interest to join its updated database of external experts, valid for the next five years.
This expert database supports ELA’s mission by enabling access to specialised knowledge across areas such as:
- Free movement of workers
- Posting of workers
- Coordination of social security systems
- Social aspects in road transport
- Tackling undeclared work, inspections, mediation, and more
- Horizontal EU legislation relevant to ELA’s mandate .
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking professionals with:
- Academic and/or practical knowledge of EU labour mobility and related legal frameworks, such as coordination of social security systems, posting of workers, free movement, and road transport legislation
- Expertise in ELA’s operational areas, including capacity building, inspections, mediation, analysis and risk assessment, and combating undeclared work
- Legal expertise and professional experience in horizontal EU legislation relevant to ELA’s operations
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken
- Experience in delivering specialised services in support of EU policy and implementation
What will experts do?
Experts included in the database may be invited to contribute to a wide range of ELA activities, including:
- Preparation and delivery of specialised training sessions
- Development of customised training programmes and learning resources
- Provision of legal advice, expert opinions, or technical input on projects and initiatives
- Support in the dissemination, promotion, and implementation of ELA’s work
