Blockbuster music acts announced for 2025 Singapore Grand Prix

The Singapore Grand Prix has announced an unmissable entertainment line-up for this year’s Formula 1 weekend at the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

Host of the original F1 night race back in 2008, Singapore has always been special – complementing thrilling track action with iconic acts performing live on stage – winning the ‘Fan Experience’ award at the prestigious Formula 1 Promoter Awards earlier this year for delivering the best overall fan experience.

This year’s event, held on October 3-5, looks set to deliver once again and Singapore has already added the brand-new Marina Bay Grandstand – situated along the promenade with prime views of the final corner, Pit Entry, and Pit Straight – due to popular demand.

All tickets provide access to the performances in the circuit’s Zone 4, which includes the main Padang Stage, while a Zone 1 ticket is required to access performances at the Wharf Stage. Tickets are available now on F1 Tickets, so check out the exciting line-up below and secure yours!

Elton John

Sunday 5 October – Zone 4 Padang Stage

Two years after the finale of his record breaking ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour, Elton John is set to make a highly anticipated return to the stage for a night to remember. The pop icon will rock the Padang Stage in Zone 4 after the Grand Prix on Sunday to close out the race weekend.

One of the best-selling artists of all time, the style icon and EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Awards) winner has redefined pop music with an unparalleled career spanning five decades, selling more than 300 million records worldwide. The British legend has produced beloved hits like Tiny Dancer, Your Song, and Rocket Man and collaborated with stars including Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Eminem, and Lady Gaga.

The Smashing Pumpkins

Sunday 5 October – Zone 1 Wharf Stage

American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins will be returning to Singapore, 15 years since their last appearance there. They gained fame with albums like Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, featuring hits like 1979, Tonight Tonight and Bullet with Butterfly Wings.

With the release of their 13th album, Aghori Mhori Mei in 2024, they are set to light up the stage with their blend of heavy guitar riffs, dreamy melodies and introspective lyrics.

Foo Fighters

Saturday 4 October – Zone 4 Padang Stage

Having won over 15 Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Album five times, and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021, legendary rock band Foo Fighters will be headlining on Saturday at the Padang Stage.

One of the most successful rock bands of all time, Foo Fighters are known for their anthemic and hard-hitting songs, such as Best of You, Everlong and The Pretender. The iconic band is ready to set the stage for a highly-charged evening after F1 Qualifying.

Alan Walker

Saturday 4 October – Zone 4 Padang Stage

Fresh from his ‘Walkerworld’ tour in North America and Europe, DJ and record producer Alan Walker will be making a pit stop to Singapore. Known for his signature blend of electronic music and melodic soundscapes, the Norwegian rose to fame with his 2015 breakout hit Faded, which earned multi-platinum awards and garnered billions of streams.

He has since become a global EDM sensation and collaborated with artistes like Ava Max, Sia, and Coldplay, performing at top festivals like Tomorrowland and Coachella.

Crowded House

Saturday 4 October – Zone 1 Wharf Stage

Iconic Australian and New Zealand rock band Crowded House gained global fame with heartfelt lyrics and rich harmonies for classics like Don’t Dream It’s Over, Better Be Home Soon, and Weather With You that won them several awards and a dedicated worldwide fanbase.

Formed in 1985, their enduring sound and captivating live performances allow them to continue to be a defining force in rock music.

G-DRAGON

Friday 3 October – Zone 4 Padang Stage

After a seven-year hiatus, South Korea’s global superstar G-DRAGON will be making his much-awaited comeback to Singapore. He will help kick off the race weekend on Friday at the Padang Stage in Zone 4. The fashion icon and trailblazer has been a dominant force in the music scene since his debut with BIGBANG in 2006, and was the first Korean soloist with a Korean-language album to enter the U.S. Billboard 200 with his first EP One of a Kind.

The rapper and singer-songwriter released the single POWER late last year and performed his latest single HOME SWEET HOME with BIGBANG bandmates TAEYANG and DAESUNG at the 2024 MAMA Awards, where he made history as the first recipient of the ‘Music Visionary of the Year’ award. G-DRAGON released his highly anticipated third studio album, Übermensch, in February – his first full-length solo project in over 11 years.

Friday 3 October – Zone 4 Padang Stage

K-pop fans can look forward to a spectacular Friday, with CL slated to perform on the same night as G-DRAGON. The singer and songwriter rose to fame as the leader of K-pop girl group 2NE1 in2009 and later launched a solo career with hits like The Baddest Female, Hello Bitches and Lover Like Me. Since then, the style icon has been listed as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia in 2019.

General Stage Acts

More artists have been announced to perform across the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, including The Wombats, HANNA, Tom Grennan, The Lathums, BABYMETAL, Le Twins, Indo Warehouse, Oakë, and Putri Ariani, adding a real festival feel to the event.
