Points are awarded and deducted based on your selected Drivers’/Constructors’ performances at the real-life Grand Prix weekends, with additional points available for the fastest lap, fastest pit stop and more.

Across the campaign, players can use a range of chips, including a triple point multiplier and ‘limitless’ team cost cap budget chip, enabling them to score more points on numerous race weekends. One driver can also be chosen to receive the so-called ‘DRS Boost’, which will double their score for any given Grand Prix.

2025 rule changes

Several rule changes have been made to F1 Fantasy for 2025, including an update to how the drivers are priced throughout the season and modifications to the points systems for pit stops and disqualifications.

In terms of pit stops, each team will now be rewarded based on the time of the fastest pit stop they achieve, as well as there still being a five-point bonus for the team who carry out the fastest stop of the race and further bonuses if the fastest stop is a new record.

As for disqualifications, if a driver is excluded from the classification of a race, the penalty points will be deducted from their constructor rather than the driver themselves.

Meanwhile, the way in which driver prices change after each race weekend has been tweaked, with updates to be based on performance from the previous three Grands Prix, rather than just the most recent.
