Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla) has been appointed to lead a newly formed congressional task force focused on the declassification of federal documents—with Jeffrey Epstein’s elusive client list topping the agenda.
Luna told Fox News that the federal government “has been hiding information from Americans for decades.”

“We have spent years seeking information on the assassinations of President Kennedy, Senator Kennedy, Reverend King, and other government secrets without success,” Luna continued. “It is time to give Americans the answers they deserve, which is why I am honored to lead this bipartisan task force that seeks truth and transparency.”
Luna said the task force will also investigate “UAPs/USOs, the Epstein client list, COVID-19 origins, and the 9/11 files.”
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., announced Luna’s appointment as chair of the “Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets,” signaling a renewed push for government transparency on issues long shrouded in mystery and speculation.
Sources confirmed to Fox News Digital that the task force’s first order of business will be the declassification of documents related to Epstein’s network, which has fueled public outrage and demands for accountability since his death in 2019.
The Justice Department has already received formal requests from Comer and Luna to release all pertinent documents related to Epstein’s criminal activities, associates, and the high-profile figures potentially implicated.
But the scope of the task force extends far beyond Epstein. Luna is also expected to spearhead efforts to declassify materials related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., along with files concerning the September 11 attacks, COVID-19 origins, and unidentified aerial phenomena (UFOs).
Letters have been sent to key federal agencies, including the State Department, Department of Energy, CIA, NSA, Department of Defense, and the Department of Justice, requesting documents tied to these historic events.
According to insiders, the push reflects mounting bipartisan pressure to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding issues that continue to captivate and concern the American public.
This move comes on the heels of an executive order signed by President Donald Trump, which mandates the full and immediate review of JFK assassination records within 15 days, and RFK and MLK files within 45 days.
“For too long, the federal government has kept information of public interest classified, and the American people are demanding greater transparency. This secrecy has sowed distrust in our institutions,” Comer told Fox News Digital. “The task force will build on the Trump administration’s efforts to declassify records of national importance and ensure Americans get the answers they deserve.”
Comer praised Luna’s commitment to transparency, stating, “Rep. Luna is committed to shining a light on the truth and ending the era of secrecy. It’s time to let the sunlight in and finally provide answers the American public has long demanded.”
As the task force begins its work, Americans may soon find long-hidden truths coming to light, with Epstein’s client list set to be the first major test of the government’s willingness to confront its own secrets.
