The Austrian Grand Prix weekend will have something of a Hollywood feel to it this season with the addition of a Legends Parade – the automotive stars of the screen taking to the track as part of an extravaganza of entertainment.
Celebrating our fascination with cars from film and television, the Legends Parade joins a packed programme at the Red Bull Ring that already includes racing action, live concerts, drift shows and air displays.

To coincide with the premiere of F1 The Movie, one of the original APXGP cars – as driven by Brad Pitt – will feature in the parade, and is set to be joined by a host of vehicles guaranteed to stir emotions and memories.
Iconic racing cars that featured in films, such as Niki Lauda’s 1975 Ferrari 312T and the 1976 Ferrari 312T2 from the film Rush, are also star attractions in the line-up.

That’s not all however, as the Aston Martin DB5 driven by James Bond actor Sean Connery in Goldfinger, the 1968 Ford Mustang from the cult movie Bullitt starring Steve McQueen and the 1967 Ford Mustang ‘Eleanor’ driven by Nicolas Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds, as well as several memorable cars from the Fast & Furious series will also take part.
It’s not only four-wheeled showpieces that will be lapping the Red Bull Ring either, as the Kawasaki GPz 900R Ninja – made famous by Tom Cruise in Top Gun – a will do a few laps of the Grand Prix circuit together with a Porsche 356 Speedster.
All the vehicles will also be on display in the F1 Fanzone, including the GMC Vandura from The A Team and the Dodge Charger ‘General Lee’ from The Dukes of Hazzard.
