Miami is the first of three races in the USA, and the teams have not disappointed when it comes to marking the occasion with special liveries – while the drivers have also stepped up to the plate with their helmet designs.
There have been some strong looks from this race in the past, but this year’s bumper crop is a feast for the eyes.
Lando Norris goes dancing
After his beach ball and basketball helmet designs here previously, Norris has gone for a full mirror ball look this weekend.

Is it a nod back to when he partied the night away last year following his first F1 win? He claims he cannot remember much of that night, but it looks like dancing might have been involved.
That, or he is trying to dazzle the opposition this weekend.
Baby blue
Charles Leclerc’s helmet design makes sense when you see Ferrari’s livery. Like last year, they have accents of blue here – adorning their front wing, engine cover and even the wheels.
It is all to celebrate their partnership with HP – and the two drivers have special race suits to match as well.

But Leclerc’s helmet design doesn’t look out of place in a city where the skies are often blue overhead, as is the ocean down at the beach.
The whole vibe works for this race, but will Ferrari have the speed to make their livery really sing?
Party pink
Racing Bulls had a techno livery last season for this race – but this year they have gone for full party pink.
Officially inspired by the new Red Bull Summer Edition White Peach, the livery is perfect for the beach-party vibes Miami has to offer, although Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson will have to be on their best behaviour until Sunday evening, with far too much racing to do first before they sample the nightlife.
Art meets speed
The third special livery for Miami comes from Kick Sauber, who have gone for a creative, paint-splattered look to celebrate the art scene from Miami.
Their regular livery is already bright, this just adds to the more laid-back vibe that this race conjures.
Cartoons and palm trees
Esteban Ocon is a big fan of Marvel, but this weekend he’s opted for some different cartoons on his helmet, inspired by all the street art around this famous city.
George Russell has gone for a more traditional design, that would not look out of place on any Miami-themed merchandise.

Both should look great out on track, with plenty of popping colours as those two lap around this stunning track.
Sunshine State
Another design that is going to be hard to miss out there – Alex Albon has kept things simple, and bright. We are used to seeing two papaya cars doing the rounds, but now we have another fruity design.
Albon has opted to celebrate all things orange – the colour, the fruit, you name it.
Against the blue Williams livery, that design should be truly eye-catching, in a good way.
