In the latest jaw-dropping display of elite hypocrisy, socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and far-left Sen. Bernie Sanders were caught red-handed disembarking from a luxurious Bombardier Challenger 604 — a jet that costs up to $7 million to own and upwards of $15,000 per hour to rent.
That’s right. The same duo who love to rail against the ultra-wealthy and the dangers of carbon emissions were flying in a jet that burns through more fuel in an hour than the average person uses in a year.
The video, obtained by Fox News, shows AOC and Sanders exiting the luxurious jet during their “Fighting Oligarchy” tour — a campaign allegedly dedicated to battling the rich and defending the working class. Irony, it seems, is not in short supply aboard their airborne socialist HQ.

According to the campaign’s official site, the tour is meant to “have real discussions across America” and take on “the oligarchs and corporate interests who have so much power and influence in this country.” Visitors to the site are even asked to donate to fund the tour’s “modest” travel expenses — modest, apparently, if you’re measuring in first-class cocktails and jet fuel.

And in a swipe at the one-percenters, the site boasts that it’s “Paid for by friends of Bernie Sanders (not the billionaires).” Unless those “friends” just so happen to run a private charter company, we’re not buying it.
The tour has already hit major cities like Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and Tucson, where the dynamic duo preached against “extreme wealth” and “corporate greed” to cheering crowds — all while leaving a carbon footprint the size of a small country.
At one rally, AOC declared, “We as a community must choose and vote for Democrats and elected officials who know how to stand for the working class.” Hard to take seriously from someone who was recently photographed sipping mimosas in first class on JetBlue en route to Vegas — a one-way ticket that runs upwards of $1,100.
And let’s not forget Sanders’ long history of private jet usage. During Trump’s 2020 impeachment trial, Bernie reportedly relied on charter jets to crisscross the country — racking up over $221,000 in private flights in just the first quarter of 2025, per FEC filings.
But perhaps the most stunning part of this tale is the environmental cost burned through by the pair of zealous climate warriors.
According to the International Energy Agency, just one private jet burns 239 gallons of fuel per hour. The model used by Sanders and AOC? Even worse — it drinks 365 gallons of fuel every 1.3 hours. Nature journal Communications Earth & Environment estimates that private jet users pump out up to 500 times more carbon annually than the average person.
So much for saving the planet.
AOC and Bernie love to talk about climate change, rising inequality, and holding the elites accountable — but when it comes time to board the plane, they seem perfectly fine acting like the very oligarchs they claim to despise.
